I saw this post on missbudgetbeauty blog and thought this would be a fun light hearted post to do. I believe she got the tag from milkbubbletea I recommend checking both of these ladies out if you don’t already follow them.
Let me start by saying I have watched a lot of Christmas movies. My first would be The Polar Express followed by A snow globe Christmas starring Christina Milian. I also like The Chronicles of Narnia The lion, the witch and the wardrobe when I was young the BBC did a TV series of the book and when ever it aired you knew it was almost Christmas so this has a nostalgic feeling for me.
2. Do you open presents Christmas eve/morning?
We open them in the morning Santa leave a stocking on the end of my kids beds (like he did for me) they go through that in our room while we have breakfast in bed. Then we head through to living room to see if Santa has left anything else. Presents are usually done by midday.
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Yes mine would be the little old lady who lived next to my grand parents knitting an ice cream tub full of clothes for our Cindy dolls. My sister and I would sit for hours trying on all her new clothes.
4. Favourite festive food?
I don’t have a favourite I love all food equally.
5. Favourite Christmas gift?
I don’t think I have favourite gift. I have been given gifts that I have wanted at the time but none that meant more than any other. I sound so ungrateful but that’s not the case at all but if someone was looking for a gift that would be a hit with me it would probably be a hand bag can never have too many.
6. Favourite Christmas scent?
It used to be Harmony hairspray loved the smell of it when I was younger and Santa always left some in my stocking (doesn’t have a scent now) now I would say a nice Christmas candle currently its Yankee Candles Christmas Wreath.
7. Do you have any Christmas traditions?
A couple the stocking on the beds and the eating breakfast before seeing or opening gifts.
8. What tops your tree?
A cream metal angel.
9. As a kid what was the one (wild crazy extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I didn’t have a gift that I always asked for but one year I asked for a mini trampoline the one you use indoors but Santa got it mixed up and got me an rowing machine. I think he thought I wanted it for fitness but I didn’t I just thought I would be fun to jump on. Either that or he knew that was what my mum wanted since she used it way more than me.
10. What is the best part about Christmas for you?
Knowing my kids are happy and enjoying the day and spending all together as a family.
